Doctor Mathew and Doctor Mark

There are two of them!

Both Mark and Mathew received certificates at assembly last year. It was like we were seeing double.

Visiting Room 21

Just found these photos of when we visited Room 21 at the end of Term Two.

Mathew making words

Here is making building words.

Letter puzzles

We are learning the names of the letters and the sounds they make. Here are some of our letter puzzles.

Doctor Mathew

Mathew enjoys coming on duty with Miss Wards. He is the doctor, carrying the medical kit.

Jill Eggleton we love your books and poems.

Mathew was excited to match the words in the large copy of the book with the words in the little copy of the same book.

Kiwi ball

We loved Kiwiball.
We listened to the coaches and ran around the bases. We hit the ball with the bat.

Autumn leaves

We were jumping in the leaves - LaDainian

"We picked up the leaves and threw them up into the air," said Pauna

"It was fun picking up the leaves," said Maarametua.

Daerue said, "The leaves were falling and the wind was making the leaves go down."

LaDainian explained that in the autumn the leaves come down.

Bookworm

For Literacy Week Dawson Primary created a book worm. All the children in the school joined into a long worm and we were all reading at the same time. It was fun.
Miss Wards took a video but she filmed the ground! It is so funny to watch.

Learners

First day of Term Two and we are back into our learning. Before school each day we read from our book boxes. It is a happy hum when everyone is reading.
